Branding

Inspiring retention and acquisition

Building a successful brand is different to building to a business. Businesses provide a service for their customers whereas brands offer something more – a level of emotional engagement that inspires trust and loyalty – two of the most important factors in driving sales.

Brand Building
The foundation for a successful business

It goes without saying that having a winning brand is a huge stepping stone on the road to success

By devising a carefully planned, targeted strategy we help build you an attractive, lucrative brand that coverts all of your new customers into fully-fledged fans.
In order to do that there are 3 key areas we must focus on.

Number 1
Preconception:

Whether it's a brand or person it's natural to make assumptions based on appearance and personality.

By creating a strong brand identity we can ensure you make the right impression.

Number 2
Interaction:

How your brand makes people feel when they interact with it will ultimately determine whether your brand is a success or not.

It's the reason why we put so much emphasis on connecting your brand with emotion.

Number 3
Recognition:

Our memory is linked directly with emotion – we never forget the times when we were the happiest, or saddest.

By communicating with your customers on an emotional level we can ensure your brand is memorable -  increasing dramatically the chances of a customer recommendation, which is key to growing your business.

Brand Positioning
Finding the way to your customers heart

How do you convince a nation of chocolate lovers that your product is somehow superior to the rest of the markets? The answer is in the positioning.

Understanding your audience is the key to successful branding. We use research, interviews and market testing to position your brand in a way that your customer's will find most attractive. The positioning process can be broken down into three stages:

Brand Positioning

Number 1
Brand Proposition:

This is a succinct expression of what your brand promises - one short sentence sums up exactly what it is that sets you apart.

It should be easy to understand, engaging, unique, relevant and consistent.

Number 2
Brand Personality:

Your brand is not only defined by the products you sell or the services you provide. How you make your customers feel is just as important. This can be described as your 'brand personality', and one of the best ways to put this into context is to imagine your brand as a person. It's an exercise that forms part of the Brand Workshops we run and is great fun to take part in.

Number 3
Brand Values:

These are the individual attributes that together form the 'brand personality'. By asking you to answer a series of questions about how you wish your business to be perceived, we can draw up a set of values that will form the basis for strong, consistent brand communications that will help to grow your business.

Stationery Design
All you need to look good on paper

Business stationery sets the tone for all your communications with customers, partners and suppliers. So it follows that if you have invested a lot of time and money in your brand identity and positioning, the last thing you want to do is spoil it all by displaying your logo on some flimsy paper stock.

At Why Digital Media we offer a full design and print service that will ensure you create the right impression. Our comprehensive range of bespoke stationery includes:

Letterhead & continuation sheet    |   Compliment slip    |   Business cards    |   Envelopes
Business cards

Logo Design
Putting a face to the name

One of the most important things to understand about branding is that people don't just buy your products and services – they buy your promise, your reputation and your identity, all of which can be represented by your logo. We use logo design grounded in solid brand strategy to identify our clients' brands in a way that is recognisable instantly and memorably. From colours and fonts to symbols and shapes, you can be sure that no single element of your logo will have arrived by chance.

Brand Naming
The sweet smell of successful nomenclature

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." In other words, what matters is what something is, not what it is called.

Now while that may have been the case in Shakespeare's day, today it couldn't be further from the truth. You see, a great name can be one of the most powerful forces in branding. It's what sets you apart from your competitors and connects you emotionally with your customers. Such power can only come from a strong positioning strategy. At Why Digital Media we have that rare ability to give your business, product or service a name derived from your brand values that communicates both meaning and feeling – a name that is as strategically sound as it is linguistically appealing.

Brand Guidelines
Helping you to be consistently brilliant

Consistency of message is crucial when engaging your audience. We ensure that this is adhered to by a comprehensive set of brand guidelines. Brand guidelines will ensure that everyone who works with the brand understands the objectives. This begins with your core proposition, values and pervades through all forms of communication from use of logo, fonts, colours and imagery to language, tone of voice and messaging.
