BACIL
BACIL (Business Against Crime in Leeds) is an online resource managed by West Yorkshire Police and Leeds City Council to help its members reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in Leeds.
There was a need to produce a secure, intelligence system that would allow over 300 BACIL members to directly log anti-social crime incidents, write comprehensive logs and upload offender profiles in real time.
Methodical planning, research and a brand audit, allowed the development of the system to cross-pollinate information and images. Overall it helped Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police & local businesses achieve the common goal of making Leeds a safer place to live, work and socialise.
